Shackles and Chains

The devious marketing minds at Direct TV have rooked us for another year. In exchange for another year contract, we get free DVR equipment that will allow us to record our favorite shows, each and every time they come on, while we watch other shows or are away from home. I believe this is similar to TIVO, a technology I have always wanted to have. I have to say it works great and so what I am forced into the slavitude of a satellite TV giant. She's a good master.
